Debbie's Sugar Coated Pecans

Ingredients:
- 1 egg white
- 1 tbs water
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 lb pecan halves
Preheat:
- oven to 250. Line baking sheet with parchment.
In mixing bowl:
- whip egg white and water until frothy.
In separate bowl:
- mix sugar, salt, cinnamon, and cayenne.
Add:
- pecans to whipped white, and stir to coat nuts evenly. Slowly stir in sugar mixture until pecans are coated. Spread nuts out on baking sheet.
Bake:
- for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
