Asian Snap Peas

Ingredients:
  • 1 tbs peanut oil
  • 1 lb sugar snap peas
  • 2 tsp minced fresh ginger
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbs soy sauce, or tamari
Rinse:
  • and remove stem and string from peas.  
Place:
  • peanut oil in wok or large skillet and heat on high.  When begins to smoke, add peas and stir constantly, cooking until glossy, bright green, and being to show a few brown spots (about 5 minutes).
When:
  • peas are almost done, add ginger and garlic, and stir for another minute or so.  
Remove:
  • from heat, and drizzle with sesame oil and soy sauce.
