Ingredients:
- 10 oz ground sirloin
- 5 oz lean ground lamb
- 1/3 cup dry breadcrumbs
- 1/3 cup grated red onion
- 4 tsp chopped fresh mint (optional)
- 4 tsp chopped fresh thyme
- 3/8 tsp salt, divided
- 1/4 tsp ground allspice (optional)
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- Pam
- 1/2 cup plain fat-free Greek yogurt
- 2 oz reduced fat feta, crumbled
- 2 tbs fresh lemon juice, divided
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Preheat:
- oven to 450.
Combine:
- first 4 ingredients in large bowl. Stir in 1 tbs mint, 1 tbs thyme, 1/4 tsp salt, allspice, and next 3 ingredients (through egg). Press meat mixture into 8 muffin cups coated with Pam. Bake at 450 for 7 minutes. Turn broiler to high; broil for 3 minutes.
Combine:
- feta, yogurt, 1 tbs juice, 1 tsp mint, 1 tsp thyme in mini food processor; pulse 10 times to combine (stick blender works fine also).
Serve with salad on side.
