Brandy's Green Salsa

Brandy's Green Salsa
from Brandy's kitchen (makes a small quantity...feel free to double/triple recipe)

Ingredients:

  • 4 tomatillos
  • 5 serrano chiles
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 bunch of cilantro, chopped
  • 1/8 cup chopped onions
  • salt, to taste
Boil:
  • tomatillos and chiles until soft (about 5-8 minutes).  Remove from water, retaining water for possible later use.
Combine:
  • tomatillos, chiles, garlic and salt in Cuisinart until smooth, adding a bit of the retained water, if necessary.
Stir:
  • in chopped cilantro and onions.  Enjoy on top of tacos, etc.
